Here we have a very easy text for our youngest students.
After reading it, we'll check their understanding through a JMatch exercise.

I have two sisters. Their names are Carol and Mary. Carol is 18 years old. Mary is 10 years old. They are very nice.
My mother's name is Kate. She is 40 years old. My mother is also very nice.
My father's name is Jason. He is smart. He is a teacher. He teaches history.
I also have a dog. My dog's name is Rock. He is a big dog. He is a brown dog. He is a big brown dog.
I love my family.
Dear Vivian,
ResponderEliminarI really like this JMatch exercise you have created. I think it's suitable for young kids and first readers, since its vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive and the questions are also easy to understand and perfectly match the text content.
It could be a good activity for recycling some words that have been previously introduced by you, as "years old", "nice", "brown", etc.
Thank you for your proposal!
Hi Vivian!
ResponderEliminarIn my opinion, you made a good activity to young learners or to students with difficulties. With this activity, they can improve their skills in English language as well as in ICT. Good use of Jmatch, Vivian. Well done!! :-)
